Top 4 Robo-Advisors in Asia | Kaplan White Paper Launch

Lifelong learning and continuous upskilling is the new normal. After speaking to many of our clients – financial institutions, insurance companies, licenses and advisers – about the threats and opportunities in the future, it prompted Kaplan to point to a future where financial training will be further refined.

In private banking, retail banking and wealth management for example, the rise of technologies, such as robo advice, will require practitioners to continually learn and become technology fluent to keep pace. The publication of this white paper is an ideal way to start the conversation.

Kaplan has interviewed 16 robo-advisors in Hong Kong and Singapore and evaluated the quality of their investment performance.

Key Insights include:

  • Key characteristics and types of robos in Asia
  • Who would consider investing with robo-advisors
  • Picking suitable robos
  • Methodology for evaluating robos’ performance, maturity and functional design capabilities
  • Scoring of the 16 robos in Asia (including B2B, B2C and B2HNWI)
  • Implications and recommendations

The findings and full report are being released in a private event on Thursday, June 7. Following the white paper presentation, there will be a panel discussion, entitled Robo wars: how robo advisor models vary and which ones will succeed in Asia.

The panelists will include:

Julian Schillinger - Co-founder, Privè Managers
Aaron Low -  Principal, Lumen Advisors
Elena Okhonko - MAS licensed Wealth Manager
Kara Kyung Wha Byun - Investment Director, Strategic Innovation Investments, HSBC
