Allen Ching

Allen is the Vice President of Equity Derivatives Structuring and Trading at DBS Bank, with Hong Kong and China stock focus. Over 12 years he has gained considerable experience in investment and commercial banking industry, the FRM and CFA Level III designations and was awarded the Financial Markets Regulatory Practices (FMRP (Singapore)).

Allen is the Vice President of Equity Derivatives Structuring and Trading at DBS Bank, with Hong Kong and China stock focus. He is also a Stress Test committee member. Allen began his career with Morgan Stanley as an Intern Analyst, and since then has over 12 years of experience in investment and commercial banking industry.

Allen combines professional expertise in areas as diverse as managing market risk of exotic equity and foreign exchange products, market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, equities, fixed incomes, foreign exchanges, funds, derivatives, valuation and option strategy.

Always being a high achiever, Allen has gained FRM and CFA Level III designations respectively in 2009 and 2011, and was awarded the Financial Markets Regulatory Practices (FMRP (Singapore)) in 2013. He is good at problem-based learning with real world examples of abstract concepts.

Since joining Kaplan she has been teaching for over 12 years with over 9 years on exam-based training. She has been a HKICPA workshop facilitator and a QP Modules & Final Exam marker for many sessions
