In this final-year programme, there are a variety of advanced modules that will investigate current marketing methods and contemporary business issues, such as contemporary advertising and e-business. This programme is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to thrive in the modern marketing landscape.

 

We will discuss the importance of providing a positive consumer experience, emerging digital media, and business theory in a way that combines business theory with the most relevant marketing topics of today. It is also very important for you to understand how an organization operates, as well as what challenges and opportunities it faces today. You will have the opportunity to examine how new technologies and consumer experiences can have a profound impact on how successful a business can be.

 

After completing the programme, you will be able to understand how to identify and assess markets, develop marketing plans, analyse consumer behaviour, and develop communication strategies. This programme will help you strengthen your expertise in the areas employers want, by putting you in real world scenarios such as playing the role of an international marketing manager and develop the competencies and skills you need to succeed in the global market.

Teaching Mode

  • Face-to-face teaching in Hong Kong
  • Each semester is a 4-month period covering 2 modules of study
  • Each module consists of seminars after office hours in the evenings


Assessment Method

  • The assessment tasks involve a combination of coursework and in-person assessments (e.g. presentations) set in accordance with each module’s learning outcomes

 

It is a matter of discretion for individual employers to recognize any qualification to which this course may lead.

Entry Requirement

  • Holders of Higher Diploma or Associate Degree in business-related disciplines

 

English Language Proficiency Requirement

  • HKDSE Hong Kong -Grade 4 and above overall with a minimum of 3 in each band in each target description for courses requiring IEL TS 6.0; or

  • Applicants whose first language is English or whose highest qualification was taught and assessed in English will also be considered.

Refund Policy

  • The program allows for a full refund of instalment fee if withdrawal notice is received in writing by Kaplan Higher Education (HK) Limited 2 weeks prior to the start of each of the trimester. There will be no refund of instalment fee if withdrawal notice is received afterwards. All fees paid will be refunded if the course is withdrawn or not offered
  • On premature cessation of the course, all fees and charges that have been collected in respect of any part of the course failing to be conducted on or after the date of the cessation will be refunded within 1 month of the premature cessation
  • In case of hardship and deferral (students are required to complete the course within the maximum length of 24 months) cases, the University and Kaplan Higher Education (HK) Limited will consider the refund arrangement on an individual and case-by-case basis
